Our mission at JJ Ranch is to produce quality horses with an emphasis on superior genetics that can be used in the performance arena as well as on any ranch. Over the years in the 50's and 60's, JJ Ranch stood Poco Zebra, a son of Poco Bueno, Master Buck, a son of Pretty Buck, and Peppy's Dennis, a son of Peppy 212. Our stud barn holds some of the most sought after genetics in the quarter horse industry today. We believe the mares are just as important as the stallions. We've strive to add only outstanding mares to our mare band. Conformation, temperament and maternal instincts are of utmost importance. The broodmare genetics include legends like Peppy San Badger, Doc Bar, Drifts Chip, Harlan, Pay Forty Four, Cat Silver and Doc's Hickory just to name a few. JJ Ranch also offers Reproduction Services, Foaling Services and Stallion Services. Our motto -- we'll get your mare in foal, we'll get your foal on the ground and nursing and we'll handle the stallion -- Whatever your needs are, we'll try to service them.

JJ Ranch operates under the ownership of John, Maria, and Jim Gover with Will Munsell as horse and cattle division manager, Stevie Garner as trainer, and Buck Stephens as reproduction manager.
